Establish your Strategic Engagement Tier

01
Individual Sessions

The Core Work. One clinician, one unit—whether individual, couple, or family. Deep ninety to 120-minute sessions because the nervous system does not reorganize on a fifty-minute clock. A biweekly cadence is recommended for optimal progress, with secure portal messaging fully included between sessions. Just you, the clinician, and the dedicated space to do the work.

Initial assessment $425 · $425 per session

02
Emergency Sessions

For the moment that cannot wait. A relationship that detonated last night. A high-stakes conversation tomorrow that you cannot walk into unprepared. Emergency Sessions are available within 24 to 48 hours of your request—offered to existing clients and, where clinically appropriate, new clients in acute need. These are deep 90- to 120-minute sessions booked exclusively by direct inquiry. This is the urgent work the calendar was never built to catch.

$600 per session

03
The Intensive

Two days. One private clinical container. A complete, self-contained engagement engineered for deep intervention. Open to both new and existing clients; no prior relationship is required. We start with the first, critical question: Is this relationship worth saving? This tier includes 30 days of post-Intensive secure portal messaging. Supplemental Individual Sessions are available thereafter at $425 per session for ongoing support, but are never required.

From $6,000 · 2-day private engagement

04
The Retained Clinician

A licensed clinician on retainer with direct, priority phone access and a 24/7 secure portal. This elite tier includes same-week clinical sessions within 24 to 48 hours, alongside bimonthly individual sessions. Available to new clients through a deliberate onboarding phase: Month 1 is dedicated to standard Individual Sessions, with full retained concierge access activating in Month 2. This tier is permanently limited to 4 clients. If at any point this arrangement is not clinically warranted, Kathie will say so directly.

$8,000 / month · Capacity: 4 clients

You stop bracing for the next conversation with your adult child because you have language for the one you keep having.

What changes for you when the pattern actually moves.

01

You stop carrying your sibling's silence into your marriage because the work has separated the two relationships.

What changes for you when the pattern actually moves.

02

You sleep on a Sunday night without the dread of Monday because you can name what is actually happening at home, and you have somewhere to bring it.

What changes for you when the pattern actually moves.

03

The clinical work begins with one quiet recognition: you have done the reading, you understand the pattern, and you still cannot access what you know when the moment actually arrives. That is the signal. That is where this practice meets you.

What working together looks like, step by step.

What we can work on:
  • Family estrangement (parent and adult child rupture)
  • Sibling estrangement and post-parent-death family fallout
  • Marriage strain from family loyalty conflicts
  • Political and ideological family fracture
  • Blended families that are not blending
  • Empty nest and the long grief of changed parenting
  • Sandwich-generation exhaustion (aging parents + adult children)
  • Identity ruptures within families (coming out, religion, geography)
  • The high-performer's hidden cost
  • Much More!

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Why no insurance?

Health insurance is based on the medical model and designed to cover the treatment of diagnosed medical and mental health conditions, and insurance companies reimburse only for treatments deemed medically necessary. It does not cover the cost of a person navigating the complexity of life and working with a professional to do so more intentionally. In an insurance-based practice, your diagnosis and treatment plan are submitted to your insurance company with every claim, and they retain the right to audit your records to verify medical necessity, which can disrupt the work on which we are focused.

What is the difference between a therapist, clinician, counselor, and coach?

These words get used interchangeably. They are not the same. Coach: helps you set goals and build forward strategies. No license required. No diagnosis, no treatment of mental health conditions. Counselor: helps with specific life challenges through guidance and coping tools, often shorter-term and goal-directed. Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) hold a formal credential. Therapist: a broad term for anyone who provides talk-based mental health treatment. It does not signal a specific license on its own. Clinician: the most formal of the four. A licensed professional who assesses, diagnoses, and treats. The emphasis is clinical depth, not just conversation or encouragement.

Kathie holds formal licenses in two states within the USA. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania and a Clinical Professional Counselor licensed in Nevada. The work she does reaches the patterns underneath, not just the coping tools on top.

Why are sessions ninety minutes, not fifty?

High-level breakthroughs require deep focus, not an arbitrary 50-minute timer. Pioneered by psychiatric legend Dr. Milton H. Erickson and psychobiologist Dr. Ernest Rossi, KHKN Group's extended sessions optimize your ultradian rhythms—the natural 90-to-120-minute cognitive cycles that govern peak performance and recovery. Every couple of hours, your analytical brain naturally downshifts, temporarily lowering stress-induced defenses and opening an optimal "window" for strategic insights and deep psychological rewiring. By aligning our work with your biology, we bypass mental fatigue, accelerate growth, and maximize the ROI on your time without ever rushing the process.

Do you see federal employees and clearance holders?

Absolutely. The foundational privacy structure of KHKN Group exists specifically because Kathie understands the high professional stakes her clients face. As a former Supervisory Federal Law Enforcement Officer, Kathie knows exactly how an exposed mental health record can jeopardize a background investigation, a security clearance renewal, or a fitness-for-duty evaluation. KHKN Group provides elite, ultra-discreet care tailored for: Law Enforcement & Intel, Corporate Leadership, Licensed Professionals, High-Profile Individuals, and their loved ones. Your privacy is not just a policy here; it is the core architecture of how Kathie operates. At KHKN Group, we keep it tight.
